I'm having issues making myself as a musician more visible on the internet independently. I have a facebook music page but whenever I use normal facebook my screenreader freaks out so i generally stick to mobile but as far as i can tell there's no way to use facebook as one of my admined pages on mobile. is this true? also, bandcamp doesn't let me upload audio independently because of some issue with my screenreader as well. Do yall independently manage your websites and networking?
Your best bet is to post a webpage on the net, and share the link via Facebook. Keep on sharing, and eventually you will be seen.
You could also join booking agencies. I have had great luck with gigsalad.com and gigmasters.com
for me, my aunt is comign over and makeing vids of me to put on youtube. nothing has happened yet as far as putting them their because from what I was told by my cousin the camera recorded them in hd and they were liek over a gig to do. that's all I can really think of
I have my music on soundclick, and get a decent amount of visitors. I often link to a new project on facebook and that at least sends folks over to listen.

while I'm not a musician, I do know that having a YouTube channel would give you the exposure you're seeking. does Justin Bieber come to mind?
That does help, but I wouldn't consider him a musician, a singer maybe.
my point wasn't about what Justin Bieber is or isn't, but rather, to answer the OP's question.
also, in case you weren't aware, the term musician doesn't have to mean a person plays an instrument. in most cases it does, but it's also how some people such as myself refer to those who are musically inclined. I would've thought you'd know that, Ms. Musician.
thanks for the suggestions. :)
When I put "Don't Walk Away" on Bandcamp, I had trouble uploading it with Jaws, and I needed sighted assistance to do it too. Now Tunecore will upload your stuff to Amazon/Itunes and such, and they're really good at helping you uploading the artwork and files. I believe it's $14.99 for uploading a single for one year. You can withdraw your money to your bank account from royalties earned from sales on from the sites minus what the sites/tunecore take out from each sale. If the song sells for 89 cents, we get 63 cents per sale. It's not a bad deal really. I've been happy with it. We haven't sold that many copies, but it's still out there for people to buy, and that's half the battle right there. Hope it helps.
Yeah a youtube channel would definitly be good. When you get songs up their share the links on your facebook page. I do that all the time. We also have a band facebook page.
I have a Soundcloud, but preffer posting to Youtube. I also (as Drom Goddess said), post links to new projects on FaceBook.
